Our Story
Julie Cannon, born in England, has nurtured a lifelong passion for horses. From the time she was a toddler, Julie’s love for horses was evident as she would climb out of her crib to ride her rocking horse. This early fascination blossomed into a dedicated pursuit of equestrian activities, including hunting, jumping, and dressage.
At 18, Julie moved to the United States, where she eventually fulfilled her dream of owning a horse farm. Nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of western Kentucky, Julie’s farm, Leaps & Landings, is a testament to her enduring love for horses. Built alongside her husband, Harold, an avid pilot, the farm offers boarding and riding lessons, creating a haven for horse enthusiasts.
Leaps & Landings stands as a beacon of Julie’s dedication to the equestrian world, providing a nurturing environment for both horses and riders. Her expertise and passion for the sport have made her farm a beloved destination for the local community and beyond.
